You’ll find yourself Ahead By A Century (one of our favorite songs) in our beautiful Homosassa home. Located in the beautiful Tradewinds gated community, you’ll find yourself mere minutes to all of Homosassa’s best attractions by land or by boat. From the moment you pull through the oversized white gates to our beautiful community, you’ll be a short minute from putting your boat in the water to docking it behind our house. Ahead By A Century is located on one of the best deep water canals, less than a minute from the Homosassa River, 5 minutes to some of the areas best attractions, or 30 min to the gulf. Watch the mermaids or kayak the Weeki Wachee, Crystal river, Homosassa Springhead – come watch the manatees.

Although the house has a completely stocked kitchen, and natural gas grill, you won’t have to cook unless you want to, Uber Eats, Door Dash both deliver and some of the best restaurants are just around the corner. Across the street (10 min walk from our door to theirs) from our favorite restaurants, Nautitime (get the peel and eat shrimp or wings) – our kids walk there. 1.5 miles from world famous Monkey Island, MaCreas’s, The Freezer, Florida Cracker Kitchen. Only a 4 mile boat ride to the gulf to scallop. 6 miles from world famous 3 Sisters Spring in beautiful Crystal River. Chassahowitzka national park, and Homosassa Springs State ark and wild life refuge.

Golfers will find plenty of courses to play within a 20 minute drive including Plantation Inn Golf Course on Crystal River and World Woods ranked #67 best golf courses to play by Golf Digest.
